iMerit is seeking Learning and Development Specialist-Process for its Salt Lake Branc

The dual goals of establishing a digital data services business at the cutting edge of technology, and creating sustainable livelihoods for marginalized youth, have led iMerit to develop a highly innovative, in-house Learning and Development (L&D) program. iMerit’s L&D team includes trainers in AI data annotation, client communication and soft skills, eLearning professionals who develop interactive, digital content to support training, and technologists who develop advanced tools and platforms for training and assessment. These teams work in concert and in close collaboration with our business to personalize an employee’s development trajectory, and deliver a world-class client experience.   • Obtain information from internal customer/external client to define the process training components
  • Analyze learner knowledge and skills, to identify process training needs, retraining needs and timetable
  • Adhere to organizational processes and policies to record and perform the production request
  • Prioritize production requests according to the needs, estimate time for desired outcome and revert to customer in due time
  • Transcribe, enter, and verify data from multiple sources like pictures, audio, video
  • Verify accuracy of transcribed data with the source document and correct any errors
  • Escalate and/or seek advice from specialists whenever needed
  • Make appropriate corrections for any error messages that arise, while entering data. Handle exception situations in production environment
  • Comprehend complex client instructions and convert them to learning points
  • Analyze production data in light of existing instructions and discover edge cases
  • Use a wide variety of IT tools and platforms for training and production support
  • Organize source documents and filing relative to data entered. Ensure security storage and back up of data files
  • Share progress or any delays in the process with customers. Comprehend work requirements, output, and target with appropriate people as per organization policy
  • Should be able to develop training ppt/manual/handouts & teaching plan from client instructions
  • Design effective training programs to mitigate skills gaps and evaluate effectiveness
  • Familiar with service delivery processes and metrics such as accuracy, productivity, time per task etc.
  • Should be able to handle POC/pilot cases & client calls
  • Should be able to handle cross-functional trainings on different projects in a domain
  • Should be able to share client feedback in unbiased way & give floor support
  • MIS & Reporting-as & when required
  • Use time and resources judiciously
  • Keep the workplace clean and operate in a tidy environment
  • Treat confidential information according to established security policies

Trainer Qualification:

  • Degree/Diploma in Computer Science and engineering or MCA or degree or diploma in computer application
  • Must have at least 5+ years of industry experience within which minimum 2 years of work experience in a complex IT driven production environment and exposure of working under overseas/cross-cultural client setup
