Description
Software Tester is responsible for manual testing of Syncron’s products from multiple users’ perspectives. A person in that role prepares test data and test scenarios, execute them continuously and reports issues to software developers.
Responsibilities:
- Design, own, and deliver on manual test plans for new features
- Develop and maintain test data
- Develop and maintain a library of manual test cases for existing features
- Design and execute regression test plans on an ongoing basis
- Verify that a product is in line with a specification before the release
- Report issues in Syncron's internal issue tracker
- Provide immediate feedback to software developers and work with them to improve the product
- Identify and address gaps in testing coverage
- Become the voice of quality for the product you work on
Reguirements:
- Minimum of 2 years working in similar role
- Ability to think outside the box and approach our products from multiple users’ perspectives
- Ability to grasp new business logic quickly
- Good SQL and relational database skills (preferably PostgreSQL)
- Excellent communication skills
- Fluency in both spoken and written English
- Well organized and very detail oriented
- Basic knowledge of Java, HTML, JavaScript - a plus
