Job Description

The Tourism Data Sales Associate is at the forefront of the sales process and is responsible for generating new business. This is done through prospecting/lead generation, lead qualifying, and/or follow-up of key sales prospects. The Tourism Data Sales Associate will play an important role in identifying and closing new prospects for the Tourism line of data sales team, leveraging, and in some instances creating, marketing and sales materials that enable UberMedia to build relationships with potential clients. These potential clients reside in mostly in the tourism industries, and the Tourism Data Sales Associate will work with the head of Tourism sales in this role.

Responsibilities:

  • Prospect and find contact information for potential key clients throughout the Tourism industries.
  • Reach out via cold calling/emailing to potential key clients as the first touchpoint in this relationship
  • Follow up and qualify leads that come in through the company’s website, including chat
  • Be the initial point of contact for potential new customers, identifying their need(s) and connecting them with the appropriate sales person
  • Develop sales/marketing materials specific to prospective client’s needs
  • Prepare materials for prospective client meetings
  • Present to potential clients and following up with post-meeting needs
  • Keep track of prospective and current clients through the company’s CRM

 

Requirements:

  • Proven prospecting or other relevant sales experience
  • Strong experience with Google Slides, Powerpoint and Excelx
  • Experience with a CRM (Customer Relationship Management Software) would be useful
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate, present and influence credibly at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level
  • Experience in delivering client-focused solutions based on customer needs
  • Proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time while paying strict attention to detail
