The role
SoFi is hiring a Senior Revenue Manager to provide accounting oversight for the Company’s application of ASC 606 and ASC 340.
What you’ll do:
Serve as the accounting lead for ASC 606; which includes consistent documentation and evidence of our application of the “5 Steps” on a monthly basis
Design and maintain revenue and accounts receivable reconciliations to ensure accurate and timely monthly reporting
Review and approve journal entries
Oversee monthly CECL aging analysis to ensure consistent application of ASC 326
Serve as key point of contact for external auditors during their revenue and trade receivables testing
Review and approve billings
Supervise two direct reports (billing accountant and senior accountant)
What you’ll need:
7+ years of experience, either Big 4 accounting or a mix of Big 4 and industry experience
Strong technical ASC 606 implementation experience
Active CPA license; Bachelors or Masters degree in accounting
Strong attention to detail
Ability to take initiative and work independently
Nice to have:
Proficient in MS Word and MS Excel
NetSuite experience
Experience in a high growth environment
