Cricket Health is looking to add a Software Engineer to our growing team to help scale our applications for improving the outcomes of patients with kidney disease. Your typical week would include writing code, writing tests, looking at others’ code and helping them make it better, deploying to production, designing future software, and communicating with other software engineers (and non-engineers) about all of the above. Solid, readable, well-tested code is more important to us than the quickest thing you can deploy to production (though we like to move fast, too). We use well-known technologies like Javascript, Node, and React. We’re in this for the long-haul (it is healthcare, after all), so we also reflect back on how we can improve our processes and get better for the next time (and what we want to learn along the way). Most importantly, you get to be the connection between software that serves the needs of it users, and helping our patients live their best lives.
