We’re looking for a Revenue Cycle Workflow Specialist to join our PharmScript team within our Revenue Cycle Operations department. As a Revenue Cycle Workflow Specialist, the ideal candidate ensures that all outstanding bills are tracked for daily census.
The ideal candidate is a people person who enjoys troubleshooting and resolving problems and is dedicated to helping customers. For you, no task feels too small and no challenge impossible. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential.
Key Responsibilities:
• Oversee billing workflow by submitting claims electronically to Medicare part D, commercial and private insurances for reimbursement
• Evaluate customer accounts, convey appropriate information, research customer issues, and establish financial arrangements with customers
• Answer incoming calls, troubleshoot complaints, issues and concerns and escalate to pharmacist accordingly
• Communicate with social workers and discharge planners to obtain discharge alerts for patients
• Assist patient beneficiary and patient power of attorney with concerns and questions regarding billing such as copay and coverage gap clarifications.
• Document and update all communication between pharmacy and facility
• Follow up with patients or caretakers of patients to obtain feedback, confirm medication adherence and answer any questions
• Review and work to resolve accounts receivable delinquencies within assigned accounts, including escalation to management as may be required
• Execute follow-up inquiries on broken payment arrangements and to secure future promises to pay
• Prioritize your work activities daily

Qualifications:
• High school degree
• Experience in long term care or retail pharmacy environment preferred
• Communication, problem solving and organizational skills a must
• Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong customer service skills
• Able to work independently as well as in a diverse, team environment
• Reliable, able to work under pressure and meet deadlines
• Excellent communication skills, professional demeanor
• Detail oriented, excellent organizational skills
• Pharmacy Technician license is required
• 1 year of billing, long term care or retail pharmacy experience desired
