Job Description

We are looking for an experienced Solutions Engineering leader with a strong Sales record and Methodology for our Global Solutions Engineering team. We are on the front line of sales and require strong business acumen and the ability to relate technology to business value. The primary objective of the manager is to providing oversight and strategy for a subset of Solutions Engineers that will include owning onboarding, training, presentation development, and product knowledge adoption and demonstrations. This position will ensure all Solutions Engineers in his or her relevant region are continually innovating use cases with our technology, up  to date on industry trends, and facilitate cross functional partnerships throughout the organization.

 

What You’ll Do

  • Manage a team of Solutions Engineers including recruitment, selection, onboarding, performance management and professional development
  • Assess and assist in the work required for any/all opportunities in assigned region
  • Ensure the company’s best assets and strategy are being used while innovating on new ideas and sharing across the global team
  • Provide and maintain technical sales support (e.g., product presentations, architecture reviews, application discussions, prototype development) for key accounts and opportunities
  • Work with Solutions Engineering and Sales leadership to drive the development of demos, RFP templates, and any other assets that can be used by the field
  • Constantly monitor and learn about sales cycles in other regions to share successes and employ strategies that are winning
  • Execute training and certification programs to ensure all assets are used properly and effectively utilized
  • Have your suitcase ready—you’ll be traveling to client sites when travel resumes post these fun pandemic times

 

About you

  • 8+ years in sales consulting or relevant business development; 5+ year management experience (success selling SaaS or providing services to Clarabridge software or equivalent experience a plus)
  • Strong Technical acumen, demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and business requirements – this is NOT a technical development position or systems admin position
  • Experience with Customer Experience technologies (NLP, text analytics, Contact Center Software) in one or more vertical markets and/or horizontal applications
  • Multi-tasking is a way of life and willingness to create materials, assets, demos, etc. in support of the global team is a must- you will wear multiple hats and function as part of the team
  • Ability to develop rapport and establish strong relationships with all levels of the sales organization and other departments within Clarabridge
  • Actively measure, monitor and adjust resources and activities appropriately to maintain good customer/prospect engagement, sales process methodology and utilization 
  • Exceptional oral, presentation, and written communication skills
  • You’re comfortable with the SaaS space and with presenting technology as a business solution
