The role

As a Senior Financial Analyst, you will be responsible for the ongoing analysis of the Company’s operating and financial results. This position will be deeply involved in the Company’s ongoing financial planning process and will help drive the success of the business by providing information and analysis to assist in decision-making. You will report to Egnyte’s FPA Manager. 

What you’ll do at Egnyte:
  • Be a key contributor in consolidated management reporting, including key business metrics, forecast consolidation (P&L and Balance Sheet), headcount analysis, monthly Flash report, quarterly CFO presentation, Board of Directors, Investors Deck, and Quarterly Business Review
  • Partner with and support internal clients within Egnyte (for example, Engineering and Operations)
  • Partner with the global accounting team during close 
  • Produce accurate, timely forecasts, budgets, and long-term plans for areas of responsibility
  • Identify key variance drivers to explain variances to plan, forecast, MoM, YoY & QoQ. 
  • Recommend areas where we could save costs
  • Develop, build, deliver and maintain planning models on the Anaplan platform to support/automate existing processes, new goals, and initiatives across all facets and functions of the business
  • Maintain FP&A procedures to align with internal control requirements
  • Provide ad hoc analyses to the CFO and senior finance leadership as needed
  • Liaise with data scientists to ensure accuracy and development of global KPI dashboards
  • Approve Egnyte Poland’s B2B sales invoices 
  • Oversee Poland-specific finance matters as requested by the Corporate Controller
About you:
  • 2-5 years of experience building planning models, at least one year of which was on the Anaplan platform. Experience with NetSuite preferred
  • Proficiency in using Tableau or another BI product to analyze customer and product metrics 
  • Relevant experience in IT or shared-service industry, ideally in a global company
  • Excellent ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and meeting deadlines; able to balance short-term, urgent needs with long-term strategic initiatives
  • Ability to adapt to changing business priorities and requirements with a positive can-do attitude
  • Strong proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, vlookups, etc.) and PowerPoint
  • Clear and effective communication skills, both verbal and written with strong desire and ability to listens actively and cultivate diversity of thought with internal customers
  • Excellent English skills to effectively communicate with our global team
  • Ability to work independently and adjust to flexible working hours (regular meetings with the US-based team)
  • Bonus points if you have an undergraduate degree in a quantitative field such as Finance, Economics or Mathematics; CMA, CFA or CPA
