The role of the Operations Manager is integral to the overall Ingenuity proposition. The Operations Manager will act as the conduit between multiple teams within the division including Tech, Merchandising, Trading and Marketing. The Operations Manager will be a strong leader with the ability to influence and make difficult decisions.
This new role is perfect for an experienced Operations & Supply Chain Professional who is looking to develop a great career in a fast growing technology solutions business.
Key Responsibilities
Implementing operational excellence across the Ingenuity Division
Managing 3rd Party Logistics relationships
Implementing alternative methods of efficiency
Setting and reviewing budgets and managing cost with clients and internal teams
Supply chain planning
Maintaining detailed records, generating reports and developing presentations to help management understand logistics
Ability to manage all aspects of supply chain
Work closely with internal departments including Merchandising, Sales, Buying and Trading and support on adhoc Supply Chain projects
Key skills & experience required:
Experience with 3rd party marketplace integrations and management
Experience with direct-to-consumer cross-border trade (EMEA, APAC, Middle East and The US)
Client Management
A strong understanding of Supply chain operations with at least 2 years+ experience at an FMCG company
Good understanding of warehouse operations and processes
Strong analytical skills and highly computer literate; advanced excel skills
Customer and Supplier focused - experience of working collaboratively with suppliers.
Excellent communication and influencing skills to develop strong relationships internally and externally
Good at working within a team in a fast paced company
Able to prioritise and allocate time effectively
Diligent in completion of tasks and projects
Strong team player
Highly organised and motivated
