The Impact You’ll Make

Account Strategists serve as our customers' primary point of contact while they begin their journey with Nextdoor Advertising Solutions. In this role, you will be responsible for educating and persuading new customers to embrace LinkedIn's platform capabilities during the early weeks and months of their experience. Your relentless drive to uncover customer business needs and your expert-level product knowledge are critical in ensuring new customers are able to realize the full benefit of their Nextdoor investment. 

Focused on driving platform adoption, client education and long-term customer success, your goals will be to ensure our clients (1) are comfortable with the fundamentals and best practices of the Nextdoor platform at the end of their onboarding experience, and (2) have launched a digital advertising solution that helps meet their business objectives. Your success will be measured based on the volume and quality of each client onboarding experience, based on a set of goals, and benchmarked against others in the team.

Key responsibilities of the role are:

  • Lead and manage a portfolio of new Neighborhood Advertising Center customers, leveraging multiple communication channels (e.g. virtual meetings, phone, email, online chat)
  • Initiate a successful customer journey by understanding customer business objectives and translating that knowledge into marketing campaign setup
  • Proactively coach customers with an educational approach to help them quickly gain value from their investment and facilitate product adoption and usage
  • Maintain expertise across the Nextdoor product portfolio
  • Proactively identify opportunities to improve our new customer experience and their adoption of Nextdoor’s advertising solutions

What You’ll Bring to The House

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
  • 2+ years of work experience in Sales account management, customer support, marketing or consulting
  • Familiarity with the business applications of media platforms (Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Pinterest, LinkedIn, etc.)
  • Excitement in working against assigned performance targets and driving sustainable growth
  • Strong understanding of branding, brand storytelling and marketing campaigns aimed at brand awareness and performance media.
  • Excellent communication, planning, and organizational skills.
