We are looking for a highly seasoned Sales Engineer to work alongside our sales teams in Los Altos and New York. This person will act as an expert and advocate for prospects to help acquire new Enterprise opportunities. You will work in tandem with the sales team from the qualification to close, using both technical and business skills sets to progress strategic and complex sales cycles.

Role responsibilities will include:

    • Primary owner of all technical aspects of the business cycle including activities such as responding to technical components of RFPs, product demo and solution briefings, deep-dive tech discovery, explanations of our system architecture and understanding of API’s, and integrations. 
    • Working as part of the Sales team to identify and qualify platform opportunities and determine if PredictSpring is right for them. Identify business and technical requirements, conduct full technical discovery and architect client solutions to meet gathered requirements.
    • Communicating customer requirements to the engineering team and serving as liaison between sales and engineering.
    • Strong understanding of POS, payments and retail technology landscape with ability to navigate executive level technology discussions.
    • Up to 30% travel throughout all US sales territories
    • Preparing and distributing sales engineering reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing sales information.

Minimum qualifications:

    • BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience.
    • 5-7+ years of experience as a technical sales engineer
    • Extensive Experience in SaaS technology
    • Experience within the cloud industry and ecosystem
    • Retail + POS technology background is preferred
