Applied Intuition engages in building advanced simulation and infrastructure tools for the autonomous vehicle industry. Its software is capable of monitoring how various elements, such as intersections and other vehicles, affect the driverless car's speed.

Job Description

We are looking for engineers excited to work on challenging autonomous driving problems with top AV programs. Our software engineers work across our suite of products, tackling difficult full-stack, infrastructure, robotics, and graphics problems. At Applied, we encourage engineers to take ownership over technical and product decisions, closely interact with users to collect feedback, and contribute to a thoughtful, dynamic team culture. In this role, the engineer will be working with customers regularly (including on-site) and developing additional features/capabilities as required in the platform.

Work across our entire stack to extend and adapt our platform for customer use cases. Also, develop new products, features, and tools for our customers' autonomy development workflows

We’re looking for someone who:

Has 2+ years experience in shipping complex software
Is a self-starter and can quickly become comfortable with new technical tools
Interested in working closely with customers and iterating fast on solutions
Designs efficient and effective solutions to a wide range of engineering challenges
Takes initiative in a fast-paced environment

Nice to have:

Working knowledge of frontend, API layer, containerization, or cluster orchestration frameworks (such as React, GraphQL, Docker, or Kubernetes)
Prior experience in customer interaction as a customer engineer, applications engineer, or sales engineer
Experience working with simulation tools, modeling physical problems, or using robotics middlewares (such as ROS)
Has experience writing Python, C++, or JavaScript
