Job Description
We are looking for a talented Senior Backend developer to join our collaborative and growing development team. As a member of this core team, you’ll make important technical decisions and ensure the scalability and performance of our product through a performant code and solid architecture.
The tasks at hand:
> Development of complex web & data applications using Ruby on Rails.
> Maintain high quality code by writing unit, integration tests and automation.
> Component architecture and design.
> Improve the performance and reliability of our services including databases, web services, and other integrations.
> Reporting to the CTO, you will implement scalable architecture and provide guiding and mentoring to an enthusiastic team of backend developers.
Skills & requirements:
> At least 5 years of experience in Backend development
> At least 3 years of experience with Ruby on Rails development and architecture
> Highly proficient with complex javascript
> At least 2 years of experience with testing frameworks, such as RSpec, Test::Unit, Cucumber and Selenium
> Experienced in writing unit and integration tests
> Big Data experience is an advantage
> Devops experience is an advantage (Kubernetes)
