Job Description

Amenity Analytics creates cloud-based NLP and analytics solutions that help financial services firms draw actionable insights from text on a massive scale. Whether through API feeds, Custom Enterprise solutions, or our Insights Platform, we use NLP and Machine Learning to transform unstructured data in financial documents. We process external data like SEC filings, Earnings Call Transcripts, Broker Research and news articles, extract the most relevant insights, and deliver these insights to our clients in elegant formats that are intuitive to use, frictionless to onboard, and designed to complement existing workflows.

Amenity Analytics needs a Strategic Account Manager. The SAM plays the most critical role in building relationships with significant clients. Our ideal candidate should ensure client satisfaction and be able to identify new opportunities to increase revenue. As a SAM, you will represent our company and interact with major clients. Ultimately, you are responsible for achieving sales quota and strategic account adoption targets.


    • Manage our key accounts portfolio including but not limited to the top banks and hedge funds in the world
    • Drive adoption and usage of our platform or API feeds
    • Develop and maintain key account plans that identify opportunities for company to deliver value, strategic motivators, main stakeholders, buying processes and forecasted sales
    • Achieve assigned strategic account objectives such as user expansion, use case discovery, product expansion, and exec org mapping
    • Establish strong, long-term client relationships
    • Communicate with clients on a regular basis and respond to specific queries
    • Suggest solutions and innovative ideas to meet client needs
    • Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual reports and forecasts
    • Maintain a high level of relevant domain knowledge in order to have meaningful conversations with prospects.
    • Draft and deliver proposals and presentations to senior managers and decision makers
    • Work with technical staff and product specialists where required to address customer requirements
    • Report on sales activity weekly and monthly
    • Keep detailed notes on all prospect and customer interactions housed in Salesforce
    • Provide forecasts on best case and most likely sales volumes over relevant time periods
    • Work with delivery teams to proactively address problems
    • Work with marketing to leverage nurture campaigns to existing accounts
    • Provide feedback to company management on market trends, competitive threats, unmet needs, and opportunities to deliver greater value to customers by extending company offerings
    • Be a positive representative of the company and its brand in the marketplace
    • Conduct all sales activities with the highest degree of professionalism and integrity


    • Proven work experience as a Strategic Account Manager or Key Account Manager in Financial Services and/or Fintech
    • 7-9 years of sales experience in B2B environment
    • Hands on experience with CRM software like Salesforce and Account management systems like Churn Zero
    • Experienced working towards sales performance metrics and KPI’s related to quantity and quality of customer engagements
    • An ability to address customer requests in a timely manner
    • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with an aptitude for building strong client relationships
    • Strong negotiation skills with a problem-solving attitudeAvailability to travel as needed
