Job Description
We are currently looking
for a Senior DevOps to join us in our fast paced, entrepreneurial environment.
The successful candidate
will be efficient, personable, reliable, and will be prepared to contribute to
a fast‐paced and growing organization. The individual must demonstrate the
ability to support the full development life cycle and have knowledge of
fundamental development skills.
What you'll do:
- Automate and monitor the deployment and configuration of the development,
to test and production environments.
- Continually monitor the health and uptime of our production
environments
- Manage the source code depositories and related systems
(requirements management, development process management, etc.)
- Organize the continuous build, test and integration processes.
- Organizing the build pipelines for deployment to, promotion and
lifecycle management of the major software components (mobile apps, middle tier
services.)
- Work with third party vendors and clients to establish
requirements to support integrations
What we're expecting:
- 7+ years of relevant experience
- Experience with VMware and Vsphere
- PowerShell scripting is preferred
- Intermediate C# coding skills required. Some knowledge of two or
more of the following frameworks .NET, Java, Swift, JavaScript.
- JSON/XML
- Experience building AWS based, scalable, and highly available
distributed infrastructure for high traffic web/mobile application and big data
analytics platform
- Docker for building and maintaining production container
environments
- Knowledge of infrastructure security and monitoring
- Some database administration in MS SQL Server
- Analytical thinking rooted in solid knowledge of fundamentals
- Superior communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Can be available for unconventional hours
