SmartAsset is the web's premier destination for financial advice, reaching more than 35 million people per month and growing quickly.  We are looking for an Inside Sales Associate to join our fastest growing new business vertical; working with financial advisors to grow their advising practices.

The position will be based in our NYC Headquarters.

Responsibilities Include:

Help build out our Financial Advisor network by:

  • Making inbound and outbound calls, responding to email queries, and converting financial advisor leads into client relationships

  • Providing detailed information to prospective customers and educating prospects on the features and benefits of SmartAsset’s platform

  • Collaborating with company leadership to vet and research different strategies for finding and converting both inbound and cold lead

  • Maintaining contacts and outreach in CRM system

  • Becoming an expert in the financial advisor industry to better help advisors and identify new opportunities to help them

Candidates should be:

  • Comfortable speaking to prospective clients on the phone; experience on the phone strongly preferred
     
  • Self-motivated and disciplined with the ability to work effectively with little or no supervision
     
  • Quick learners
     
  • Team players who possesses excellent interpersonal skills and communication abilities, with a high degree of self-confidence
     
  • Organized, detail-oriented, and excellent time-management skills
     
  • Comfortable in the fast-paced, high growth environment of a startup
     
  • Sales experience preferred
