About Xip

Xip is an-award winning UC Berkeley spinoff working to develop commercial diagnostics on the next generation blood testing platform. The platform is a microchip based assay device which represents the first single-use, handheld blood analyzer with precision and accuracy equal to a clinical laboratory. The device is capable of measuring multiple analytes directly from a finger stick of blood and wirelessly transmit the results. At its core is a proprietary CMOS microchip, which contains a sensor array capable of detecting over 100,000 single molecules directly from unprocessed samples!
