Our GTM Enablement & Business Value org scales value selling practices across the entire go-to-market organization by designing and delivering impactful enablement programs and working with customers directly to understand how customers realize value through Datadog.  We’re interdisciplinary thinkers leveraging diverse business backgrounds in engineering, education, management consulting, business operations (and more!) to define, manage and measure Datadog’s global go to market motion. We empower all of Datadog’s customer-facing teams with the right information, skills, and tools at the right time in order to maximize their ability to land, expand and drive Datadog’s next phase of growth.

The Director of Technical Solutions Enablement will lead a team to define and deliver the enablement strategy for our Technical Solutions go-to-market teams on a global basis.  We seek an inspirational people leader who can attract and coach exceptional talent while building a vision and culture for the team. You will partner with senior leaders across Technical Solutions to define their enablement needs and help your team distill and deliver on priorities that will truly make a difference to Datadog’s bottom line performance. You are someone who thrives in ambiguous and high-growth environments who excels at setting vision and strategy but also enjoys being “in the weeds'' in operations with a high level of attention to detail. This role reports to the Senior Director of GTM Enablement & Business Value and will be responsible for providing enablement to all technical GTM roles, including Sales Engineering, Support Engineering and Technical Post Sales teams.

What You'll Do:

  • People leadership: lead a high-performing team of trainers, curriculum designers, and program managers in creating scalable and effective enablement programs

  • Operationalize everything: design robust systems that will scale as we growth our go-to-market headcount

  • Thought leadership: develop an enablement “roadmap” building towards a target state of learning and productivity at Datadog

  • Execute on plans: build consensus around your roadmap and bring it to life with best in class trainings and enablement programming

  • Follow up: maintain a regular reporting cadence ensuring that programs are working and adopted

  • Data-driven: measure the success of our enablement programs; identify skill set, knowledge and training program gaps in the field

  • Develop the field: ensure that each of our salespeople reaches their full potential

You Are:

  • 8+ years of work experience (with at least several years in a technical solutions, strategy or an enablement role)

  • 3+ years of experience leading people in highly complex / ambiguous environments

  • Strong quantitative skills: you like to run your own salesforce reports and debate data with your partners and stakeholders

  • Operational thinker: you thrive executing on clear plans and improving systems

  • Proven track record of building and maintaining scalable programs

  • Agile mindset: proven ability to iterate from minimum viable products

  • Outstanding verbal and written communicator: you make the complex simple

  • Team oriented and empathetic: you can work with analysts, engineers, reps, whomever!

  • BA/BS degree required
