The Director of Operations

Functions as a fully integrated Administrative colleague for service line business operations by providing comprehensive guidance, consultation, and support services with the express purpose of maximizing the effectiveness of operational processes that promote the organization’s strategic objectives. Operational responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and leading outreach activities for multiple service lines that support the organization and drive referral management. Leads and/or participates in strategic projects that assist the organization in furthering its Strategic Plan and achieving its vision and key performance targets

Functions as a fully integrated Administrative colleague for service line business operations by providing comprehensive guidance, consultation, and support services with the express purpose of maximizing the effectiveness of operational processes that promote the organization’s strategic objectives. Operational responsibilities include planning, coordinating, and leading outreach activities for multiple service lines that support the organization and drive referral management.

Responsibilites:

  •  Build and maintain high-touch relationship with clients and vendors by communicating with them regularly regarding upcoming events, inventory control and event COEs
  •  Coordinate with internal resources to ensure timely event execution and inventory logistics.
  •  Liaison with Technology Team for any comms or data transmission issues and basic hardware & software issues
  •  Coordinate with other departments as necessary
  •  Solve client/data discrepancies in a timely manner
  •   Identify opportunities to grow vendor-client relationships and revenue
  •   Maintain and revise Onsite Event Program SOP
  •  Strong written and verbal communications skills and excellent computer skills required
  •   Ability to travel up to 75% of the time (3-4 days/wk)
  •   Travel based on priority level (High profile, High volume, etc)

Qualifications for Director of Operations 

  • Ability to lead a team and make supervisory decisions
  • Proven track record in customer satisfaction
  •  Prior experience in Healthcare, Event Planning & Execution, Client Relations, Marketing or Project Management is a plus
  • Communication Skills - Executive summaries, teaching and training materials, etc
  • Manage contractual agreements to ensure overall client satisfaction

 

What we are looking for…..

  • Bachelor’s degree in business or healthcare field or an equivalent combination of education and/or experience is required.
  • Master’s degree preferred.
  • Experience:
  • Five years of leadership experience is required.

  • High degree of initiative and judgment.
  • Strong technology skills including software ie: Word, Excel, Power Point, AV equipment.
  • Ability to work flexible hours. May require after business hours, weekends, and travel.
