SUMMARY OF ROLE:
This position is responsible for the supervision of personnel & daily tasks associated with execution of material flows to support production schedules, order releases and shop-floor inventory transactions in compliance with Element Sciences inventory control policy.
RESPONSIBILITIES:

Plan, organize, supervise, and participate in daily warehouse operations and activities, including the receipt, documentation, storage, safety and distribution orders and materials to production floor.

Train, supervise and evaluate the performance of assigned warehouse employees; assign workload to warehouse workers.

Supervise the processing of inventory transactions; complete requisitions for needed materials to assure adequate stock levels.

Prepare and maintain a variety of records and logs and prepare reports as required; maintain inventory of items in the warehouse; file records as required; supervise the assembly of inventory reports and catalogs as required.

Operate and demonstrate use of specialized warehouse equipment as necessary; assure proper and routine maintenance and servicing of warehouse vehicles and equipment.

Observe health and safety regulations; maintain warehouse in a clean, safe, and orderly condition.

Assist management in establishing warehouse standards and procedures; ensure training for all team members are done in timely manner.

Perform other duties as assigned.

Manages the cycle count program in all inventory locations.

Investigates and reconciles inventory variances in collaboration with cost accounting.

Perform work with following physical demands:

Requires bending, squatting, crawling, climbing, reaching.

Requires the ability to lift, carry, push, or pull medium weights, up to 75 pounds.
QUALIFICATIONS:

High school diploma or G.E.D. Certificate and three years warehouse management or related experience.

Self-motivated and the ability to work independently.

Knowledgeable of warehousing and stock control methods and procedures.

Knowledgeable of methods of receiving, inspecting, and issuing materials using ERP system.

Knowledgeable of Warehouse operations, procedures, equipment, and terminology.

Excellent Interpersonal skills using tact, patience, and courtesy.

Ability to train, supervise and evaluate personnel.

Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.

Ability to plan and schedule work for team members.

Ability to Maintain accurate records of stock transactions.

Ability to read, interpret, apply, and explain rules, regulations, policies and procedures.

The salary for this exempt-level position will be based on experience and qualifications within an established pay range.

Compensation Range $ 95,000 - $110,000.
