Finance & Strategy Analyst

Reporting into the Senior Analyst on the Finance & Strategy team, this is a key position that will play an important part in LetsGetChecked’s success by working directly with LetsGetChecked’s product, business, and finance leaders, driving financial planning and business forecasting, and developing strategic analysis around important programs. This role is based in Dublin and will focus on supporting our business globally.
Responsibilities

Nurture deep, trusted partnerships with marketing and product teams, collating, analysing and interpreting data, to deliver recommendations for the business.
Developing proprietary models to gain deep insights on granular performance: how revenue and margin flows across cohorts, countries, user segments and mix of products and how that compares to other regions, to assess the profitability and strategic value of new and recurring revenue.
Running valuation analyses across our different products (Diagnostics, Consultations, Pharmacy) on both an individual and aggregated basis.
Support strategic decisions, including projects on pricing design, customer behaviour analysis and economics, LTV / Return on investment of marketing efforts, market/competitive landscape benchmarking, and other data-driven analysis.
Drive deep insights on our top users and users by cohort and by product mix, looking at trends and benchmarking to identify early signals of potential growth or risk.
Generate measurable value-add to the business. Generating strategic asset allocation recommendations: where to slow down or remove resources, where to add resources or accelerate, understanding the relative impact of different resources.
Drive Margins and Profitability including customer cost of acquisition and onboarding, and the relative costs of net retention (upsell, churn, support) for existing customers and costs of developing getting products to marketing.
Partner with departments (e.g. Accounting, Business Intelligence and Data Analytics, Sales and Marketing, and others) to report on the financial impact of decisions across the company.
Responsible for the completion of the monthly forecast process, including the analysis, interpretation and explanation of variances to budget on a monthly basis, this will include liaising with Business Managers.

What we are looking for…..

Qualified (ACA, CFA or similar) with excellent academic record.
At least 1 to 2 years post qualification experience in any of the following: a high-tech growth environment; operational experience in investment banking; management consulting; private equity; venture capital or business insights / analytics roles.
Self-starter; Enthusiastic; Analytical; Works well under pressure, with a high degree of adaptability and flexibility in a fast paced, rapidly changing environment.
Excellent modelling skills (Cohorts, LTV) with experience in building and maintaining consolidated integrated models from scratch in Excel (be prepared for a case study).
Strong business report writing and presentation skills with high attention to detail
Experience with SQL and data visualisation tools a plus (Looker)
