2023 Internship Programme
LetsGetChecked is fast becoming a global leader in personal health testing. Our medical technology platform provides connectivity between customers and our global network of laboratories. We are enabling customers to order, manage and track their own clinical outcomes through a personal online account.
Due to our continued success, we are looking for Interns to join our exciting high growth company to take part in a full-time 9 month program from January - August 2023, with the possibility of joining our Graduate Programme upon completion.
We want people that are hardworking, self-motivated and with attention to detail, to join us to continue to drive our business forward.
We are hiring Interns in the areas of Frontend (react and angular), Backend (.net in both c# and f#), Mobile ((iOS (Swift) and Android (Kotlin)), Data Science, Devops, Design and Product.
Our internship programme focuses on real projects solving customers, clients and employees needs and touching on many parts of our operations and stack. You will start with an induction covering our tech strategies, products and systems, and then you will dive in and gain hands-on experience working with our teams to create innovative solutions that really make a difference.
What you'll do:
Work on agile teams with peers and experienced software engineers to grow your skills, share ideas and innovate with our technology team.
Use technology to solve problems, seeking input and guidance from team members.
Create or have responsibility to improve development tools, applications and practices.
Take part in team discussions focusing on design, scoping, process, and prioritization.
Invent, refine, and develop solutions to ensure they are meeting customer needs and team goals.
Work closely with customers and/or internal partners to understand business impacts and identify opportunities/problems arising from technical decisions.
Assist the team with troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and resolving defects in the event of a problem.
What you’ll gain:

Currently in 3rd or 4th year of a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Math/Statistics/Engineering or other equivalent quantitative discipline
Experience with at least one functional scripting language (e.g., Perl, Python, C, C++, Java, Ruby, shell scripting) and open-source technologies (Linux, Spring, React, etc).
Ability to communicate clearly and effectively
Organizational skills
Attention to detail and accuracy of work
Problem analysis and problem-solving
Enjoy working in teams
Self motivated with a desire to learn
Beneficial Experience:
Some experience with Kafka or AWS
Knowledge of asynchronous programming in .NET (async / await)
RESTful architectures
