This is a great opportunity for someone looking to join a dynamic finance team in a fast-growing technology company. The successful candidate will work closely with different departments within the company, while at the same time gaining valuable professional and technical experience in a finance role. You will become involved in the daily, weekly, monthly and quarterly financials for a growing and expanding company.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:
Planning, analysing, and collecting data to determine costs of business activity such as raw material purchases, inventory, labour and logistics.
Project management in system implementations (SAP ERP, Salesforce, LIMS).
Analysing changes in product design, raw materials, manufacturing and dispatch methods, lab or physician services provided, to determine effects on cost.
Analysing costings and variance analysis for inventory and production data.
Financial reporting for the senior management team, ensuring timely and accurate preparation of all reports and presentation to stakeholders.
Support the business through the budget and forecasting cycles, using insight and detailed analysis to ensure targets are robust and completed on time
Ensure relevant processes are documented, reviewed regularly, and maintained in line with accounting requirements.
Delivery of cost saving initiatives across the business.
Providing management with reports specifying and comparing factors affecting prices and profitability of products or services.
Support the financial control of inventory including accounting, valuation and obsolescence management.
Support the preparation of budgets including the development of robust forecast and budget models
Who we're looking for...
Highly motivated individual with Bachelor Degree in Finance or Accounting with 1-3 years post qualification experience.
CIMA or equivalent qualification would be a distinct advantage.
Prior experience in a similar finance role preferred.
Perceptive, self-starter, ability to work independently along with being a team player.
Continually seeks to improve work processes and find ideas for more effective working.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks, develop timelines and set goals.
Strong communication and inter-personal skills.
Strong Excel skills.
