Solutions Senior Manager, Life Sciences at Clarify Health Solutions

Clarify is looking for a Solutions – Senior Manager for its Life Sciences segment, to focus on supporting the growth of Clarify’s Life Sciences analytics products. The team member will provide subject matter (SME) and product expertise in customer meetings and demos, translating customer business problems into the right configuration of the solutions that Clarify offers.  
This is a critical role in driving the success of the Life Sciences segment and business development –
working alongside the Sales team to uncover customers’ business challenges and create a unique solution, engaging story, and demonstration of value and benefits to senior leadership. The team member will drive end-to-end support for complex deals, including building important customer and account relationships.
The Solutions Senior Manager will build an expert understanding of Clarify’s product functionality and analytics services, and can combine these solutions with customer business requirements to ensure optimal scalable solutions and adoption by customers. Candidate must be able to participate in and lead business requirements gathering sessions, working across Sales, Product, as well as directly with customers. They also must have a strong business understanding and be able to translate business process flows into Clarify product use cases.

The Role

    • Enabling commercial activities for the Life Sciences segment by:
    • Supporting sales conversations as a subject matter expert (SME), including bringing healthcare and software / analytics expertise (e.g., clinical expertise, medical/regulatory knowledge, specific product expertise)
    • Supporting the qualification of deals and scoping/timeline of customer delivery to ensure product fit to customer needs
    • Designing, scripting and delivering demos to be used in sales meetings
    • Partner with Product during the pre-sale phase to shape and scope any new areas that are not part of our ‘in-the-box’ solution
    • Identifying potential challenges and blockers to complex deals and develop solutions to resolve
    • Collaborating with the Marketing team to develop compelling collateral for the solution including contributing to blogs, white papers and conference attendance
    • Serve as a critical voice of the customer to provide input to the Strategy and Product team

What we are looking for

    • We are always looking for new team members who will be a strong fit with our culture and have a passion for impact.  In particular, the team member will have:
    • At least 5-7 years’ experience in the Life Sciences industry (i.e., biopharma, analytics service providers to biopharma including consulting and SaaS)
    • Understanding of the challenges faced by Clarify’s target Life Sciences customers
    • Data, analytics and software experience in healthcare
    • Past experience in a sales enablement capacity a huge plus (e.g., demos, solution architect role, serving as an SME in sales meetings)
    • Thrives in a dynamic start-up environment with change and ambiguity
    • Willing to travel 50%
