Qualification requirements
* Proficient in Visual Studio, SQL, C#, software development life cycle, strong analysis and troubleshooting skills
* Experience with Microsoft SQL Server and related product suite. (Integration, Reporting and Analysis Services)
* Experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, Microsoft Dynamics Navision preferred.
* Experience with ASP.NET development
* Familiarity with networking, databases, Windows, and enterprise resource planning terms and concepts
* Background in software development, databases, business systems and/or reporting software
* Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information systems or related discipline
* Familiarity with Microsoft SharePoint Server, Data Warehousing and decision support systems a plus
* Minimum six (6) years experience
Key responsibilities:
The successful candidate will be responsible for the development and support of custom software solutions, enhancement of existing business systems and the development and enhancement of information access to the corporate data warehouse. Specific responsibilities include, but are not limited to the following:
* Create, modify and support business system software
* Develop software solutions to enhance decision support systems, ERP and the Data Warehouse
* Design, implement and execute tests validating the interaction of systems
* Document requirements of system components and interfaces
* Work with internal customers to understand business systems needs and provide appropriate software solutions
* Evaluate software and hardware technology as requested
* Provide technical consultation to other internal groups
* Act as a backup to internal IT staff for services and operations
