Overview:
The Territory Manager is responsible for establishing, promoting and maintaining a high level of sales of dermatological products for Medicis. Working within an established territory, this position serves as a sales representative to dermatologists and podiatrists providing them with product information, superior customer service and support.
Responsibilities:
# Promote and sell Medicis products to current and potential customers
# Initiate specific courses of action to increase sales and market share for specific products
# Communicate with customers in a clear and effective manner
# Build internal and external relationships; establish credibility and rapport with customers
# Organize and schedule tasks, develop realistic goals and action plans
# Deal with unresolved situations, frequent changes, delays or unexpected events
# Possess the ability to travel and work outside of the parameters of 8am to 5pm when required; expected 4 overnight stays per month
# Document all activities and progress
Qualifications:
# BA/BS in marketing, sales, business administration or a related field is required
# Experience (2-4 years) in direct and/or outside sales
# Pharmaceutical sales experience is highly desired and will be given first consideration
# Must have demonstrated selling skills
# High personal motivation and a sense of urgency
# Strong oral and written communication skills
# Customer service orientation
# Must possess a valid driver’s license and the ability to safely operate a motor vehicle |
