Qualification Requirements
* High School diploma or equivalent
* Experience in orthodontic or dental office mandatory or comparable skills
* Knowledge of teeth, their function and occlusion
* Excellent oral and written communication skills
* Competency based curriculum
* Excellent interpersonal skills
Key Responsibilities
The successful digital lab technician will produce orthodontic set-up’s digitally for treatment with fixed appliances, using proprietary software. Primary responsibilities for this job include, but are not limited to the following:
* Inspect incoming scan data of themalocclusion regarding coverage and completeness
* Process the raw scan of the whole dentition to receive separately movable teeth
* Inspect incoming set-up request regading feasibility and consistency
* Set-up the teeth according to the request of the customer
* Check and correct the design of the archwires that are created digitally before bending them physically
* Indirect or direct communication with the customer (orthodontists) may be required if incoming data or requests are not sufficient for processing
