Description:
General Position Responsibilities:
* Responsible for supporting Manufacturing and Product Engineering effort as Systems Administrator at SSN headquarters.
* Administrative duties will include managing and controlling data and configuration files in support of production shipments.
* The candidate will report to the Director of Manufacturing and will support Manufacturing Engineering, NPI Engineering, Manufacturing Product Engineering and production test configuration requirements.
General Experience:
* 3 years + experience in manufacturing or production, preferably in a wireless or network systems manufacturing environment.
* Administrative experience in support of manufacturing and production processes.
* A demonstrated record of success in delivering effective administrative support for wireless or network communications systems manufacturing.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
* Creation of Shipper or Device Files which contain all relevant data from production shipments of SSN products.
* Configuration and control of network SIM cards on SSN production Access Point shipments
* Creation and administration of SSN product SKU (catalog) part numbers and management of system documentation.
* Creation of configuration files from PC-based tools, and export of files to appropriate network locations.
* Creation of on-line tracking tickets in to initiate and track production configuration events.
* Interface with cross functional organizations throughout SSN to obtain product configuration data required for production shipment data files.
* Manage data files and other documentation in on-line manufactured product structure (document control).
* Upload documents and files as required to network locations or to product document structure.
Skills and Knowledge:
* Experience in and knowledge of on-line document control systems such as Arena or Agile.
* Solid understanding and experience with ERP or MRP systems, preferably Oracle ERP.
* Solid experience in MS Office applications: Excel and word.
* Experience in database environments such as MS Access.
* Experience and familiarity in a Windows PC environment.
* Experience and familiarity in a network environment.
* Experience in on-line systems for action-tracking such as jira or bugzilla, or other CRM-type systems.

* Quick to acquire and learn new skills and knowledge.
Education:
* AS engineering or technical discipline or equivalent experience
* Optional: BA, BS or equivalent degree in a relevant field.
