WayUp is looking for someone to build out University Partnerships as a key student acquisition channel at WayUp. It’s your job to foster and maintain relationships with universities and create partnerships that drive thousands of students to WayUp.

RESPONSIBILITIES

 

Identify and reach out to decision makers at universities. This includes Directors of Career Services, Presidents, Deans, and Provosts (or other university decision makers).

Introduce decision makers to WayUp. This includes demos and trips to meet with school officials.

Execute mutually beneficial partnerships with universities.

REQUIREMENTS

 

Hustle & Determination - We are looking for someone who can create meaningful partnerships with institutions that run at a very different pace than startups... It'll take determination to make these partnerships happen, and will require a lot of hustle to get to the right people. However, once you do, the value prop of what we can offer (in exchange for no money, and barely any time) should be something you feel comfortable pitching.

Creativity - Navigating universities can be tricky because every school is structured differently. Also, every school has different needs, and you will have to create a solution that makes sense for everyone.

College Degree - Even better if you've been to a Career Services office before!

2-4+ years work experience (It's a plus if you have worked in career services, college recruitment, and/or selling software to universities)
