Responsibilities
* Thoroughly owns entire portions of a fantasy based MMO world and takes them to completion through terrain sculpting, texturing, lighting, and environment prop integration
* Works closely with the Art Director and Lead Environment Artist to ensure visuals are consistent with the desired vision for the game
* Works closely with designers to ensure the environment supports necessary gameplay requirements
Requirements
* Strong traditional art skills and background
* Must have at least 3+ years of industry experience
* Must have shipped at least two game titles
* Strong proficiency with Maya, Adobe Photoshop, and a geometry painting package such as Zbrush or Mudbox
* Solid understanding of computer graphic fundamentals and video game art production pipelines
* Solid understanding of art fundamentals such as color theory, light, shade, and form
* Ability to work to a schedule
* Excellent communication skills
* BFA or equivalent
* Experience with height map terrain systems a plus
* Experience with modular design principles a plus
