| Responsibilities: • Coordinates with Director Federal Sales – reporting to VP Sales and Marketing • As an Account Executive specializing in Federal sector sales, responsibilities include generating revenue in a defined territory by selling company’s solutions to new customers as well as maintaining relationships with existing customers and partners. • Manage all sales activities in the Federal sector market in accordance with the strategic goals of the company • Represent the company at client meetings, local and national exhibits, trade shows and conferences • Identify and create business needs with decision makers • Cultivate client relationships by developing outstanding rapport with clients and • business partners • Build branding and industry recognition to ensure that all sales objectives and goals are met Requirements: • BSEE or BSCS • Must be a creative independent thinker and be able to work well with people at all levels • 5+ years of experience selling or marketing computing or storage solutions and • 6‐10 years of successful sales/business development experience • Must have strong business and networking skills • Ability to create and maintain strong relationships in the Federal market • Excellent written and oral communication skills • Strong experience in Microsoft spreadsheet, presentation, project planning and word processing software • Must have flexibility to travel 40 to 60% of the time Reporting Relationships The Account Executive/Federal Sales position will report to the Vice President of Sales and Marketing.
