Responsibilities:
* Lead the development and maintenance of Acquia’s automated build, continuous integration, release and deployment systems.
* Add and debug new components to the build
* Acquire and release tools and packages
* Improve the build process and infrastructure
* Manage branching and other subversion activities
* Continuously improve our tools for building, unit testing, regression testing, and problem isolation of build, packaging and product problems
Requirements
* BS in Computer Science or other technical field or equivalent experience.
* 3 to 5 years experience in Linux build systems/continuous integration/release engineering
* Expert in bash or other shell scripting language
* Expertise in at least one object oriented scripting language such as ruby, php, python
* Expert in creating and extending makefiles
* Expert in at least one continuous integration system such as Buildbot, Hudson
* Expert Subversion experience including the proper process and implications of branching
* Strong expertise with package management systems including fedora/redhat yum, ubuntu/debian apt-get
* Strong experience with Apache server administration, Tomcat, general system administration and installer technologies
* Excellent organizational and communication skills, both verbal and written.
* Cross platform knowledge of Linux/Mac and Windows and development environments
