Job Description:

The right candidate is self-motivated and thrives in a fast-paced, results-driven environment. This is an ideal position for an individual with 1-2 years online marketing experience who wants to start or further develop a career in the online retail business, while learning cutting-edge Internet marketing techniques. This is a position for a highly-organized and detail-oriented individual who has a thirst for learning and a passion for delivering excellent customer service, both internally and to affiliate partners!

*Position is a 6 month contract position that has the possibility of becoming long-term
RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Provide efficient and rapid e-mail and telephone support daily to a large number of affiliates regarding the benefits, features, and rules of the Art.com and AllPosters.com Affiliate Programs
* Build and manage effective working relationships with top-performing and key affiliate partners and co-marketing partners to negotiate improved presence on partner sites and within other marketing vehicles
* Identify, recruit, and negotiate with potential affiliates to grow the program
* Develop and execute communication to affiliates through newsletters and maintain dynamic promotional banners
* Work with the Design team to develop new creative elements for affiliate use as well as affiliate newsletters and landing pages
* Work with the IT department to resolve any affiliate backend/tool issues (e.g. datafeeds, web services, reporting)
* Run monthly payments for both programs and ensure they are completed on time
* Manage daily, weekly, and monthly reporting, communicate performance of the programs, recommend improvements and identify optimization opportunities

REQUIREMENTS:

* 1-2 years work experience, experience in affiliate marketing or technical customer support a plus
* A self-starter who is passionate and motivated to drive success
* Strong analytical skills, including the ability to analyze data, draw conclusions, and develop recommendations
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong problem identification & resolution skills, be detail-oriented and have the ability to manage priorities
* Strong knowledge of Excel required and basic HTML a plus; Comfort level with and interested in Internet technologies such as datafeeds and XML
* Effective project management skills, including demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
* Possess excellent interpersonal and organizational skills; stellar verbal and written communication
* Have the ability to take direction and work independently with little supervision
* Ability to work effectively in a team and across departments
