Job Description:

Location: San Mateo, CA

BlackArrow is looking for a highly motivated senior software engineer for our advanced advertising system for New TV platforms.

Responsibilities:

* Design and build J2EE-based enterprise applications suited to large volume, high availability environments
* Evaluate and leverage new technologies appropriately
* Produce high-quality engineering design documentation
* Work with the product management and engineering teams to translate product requirements into high quality deliverables

Requirements

Experience with the design and implementation J2EE-based solutions including:

* Large volume, high availability enterprise applications
* EJB2/EJB3
* Web services frameworks (Axis/Metro/etc.)
* Persistence frameworks (Hibernate/etc.)
* JDBC
* JMS
* JSP/Servlets

Additional expertise desired:

* Experience delivering Software as a Service (SaaS) products
* Thorough knowledge of SQL, stored procedures, functions, transaction contexts
* Excellent oral/written communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to multitask and work under pressure to meet deadlines

Experience with the following Technologies:

* JBoss Application Server 4.x/Tomcat 5.x
* RDBMS (MySQL/Oracle/etc.)
* Web services frameworks (Axis/Metro/etc.)
* Persistence frameworks (Hibernate/etc.)
* Linux

Education

* BS or MS in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Experience Requirements:

* At least 6 years of hands-on experience in software development
* Minimum 3 years developing technical requirements
* Minimum 3 years of enterprise platform engineering experience
