Allurent is developing a suite of products which greatly enriches online shopping experiences. They have established a thought leadership position in the e-commerce 2.0 space.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
* Work in a highly collaborative environment with designers, developers and clients to create innovative and intuitive design solutions for Allurent's RIA services engagements.
* Gather client business and feature requirements
* Organize information at a high level
* Lead client design discussions
* Create wireframes, functional specs, interactive prototypes and design comps
* Create usability tests and moderate user studies, and make insightful sug-gestions for change when necessary
* Represent design in all phases of services lifecycles internally and in client discussions.
* Provide design quality assurance in the implementation phases,

Qualifications:
* 7 years or more experience designing desktop applications or consumer facing RIAs (using DHTML or Flash).
* Strong, clean visual sense of design and typography
* Excellent client management skills and communication
* Strong knowledge of recent RIA/UI trends
* Willingness to work in the Boston/Metro area
* Fluency in all relevant design tools including: Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Flash and OSX
* Experience working with e-commerce retail customers
* Experience working with a Flex development team
* Formal design training
