Recently, Allurent launched Allurent On Demand (AoD), an innovative Software as a Service (SaaS) offering that enables retailer to have engaging, interactive merchandising displays more quickly, with less risk and far more cheaply than they have been able to date. Our launch has been highly successful with a public case study from our launch customer and new customer wins. The cost of AoD means we can reach a much larger audience of etailers. To do that, we are adding Inside Sales capabilities.
Key Responsibilities:
* Target identification – adding new accounts with whom we should prospect
* Contact identification- finding the right people in an account and their contact information with research tools like LinkedIn, Hoovers, etc.
* Prospecting - cold call (email and phone) to key people to find opportunities
* Messaging - communicating our value proposition at the right time to the right audience via phone
* Sales Process staging - walking a prospect through the correct phases and bringing in skilled Allurent resources where need to supplement the process. Must be able to identify when a prospect doesn't fit the normal sales process and they need more senior-level involvement.
* Simple deal completion - able to get customer to the point of signature for simple deals.
* Work closely with Marketing team on demand generation via coordinated outbound campaigns
This person must have the following experience:
* 2+ years inside sales experience and demonstrated consistent success (over quota achievement, sales clubs, etc.)
* Ideally, the candidate will have experience selling enhanced website features that drive business value (imaging, cross sell engines, search optimization, etc.)
* E-commerce experience is of particular interest
* Demonstrated prospecting capabilities
* Strong email experience. Much of the prospecting will be done via email.
On a personal level they must be:
* Motivated, self started
* High energy and a positive attitude
* Results oriented
* Candidate must be comfortable in a sales process that includes explicit weekly targets for key metrics, such as net account additions to the database, emails successfully delivered, and initial prospect calls conducted.
* Very personable and able to connect with people
* Smart and can think on their feet
* Superior communication skills both written (will do a lot of messaging via email) and verbal
* Located in Boston area. There is the possibility for some travel but only occasionally, if at all.
