| Description: | Overview: Join the Application Security, Inc. team and contribute to the sales of our cutting-edge technology which helps customers secure their enterprise databases. Description: Application Security Inc. is seeking a Regional Sales Manager for various territories in the U.S. The successful candidate will develop and manage customer relationships that lead to the sale of AppSecInc Products and quota attainment. The Regional Manager has total responsibility for all business in the territory, mainly direct, but also though channels. The RSM will work with Inside Sales, Lead Development personnel, System Engineers, Product line specialist and other company resources to achieve success,. The Focus of the RSM is to secure new business defined as new customers or add-on business in the installed base. The RSM has ultimate responsibility and accountability for the success of the territory. The RSM will also assist their inside sales counterpart to secure new business and will also assist the Inside Sales person to insure the renewal of existing subscription licenses and maintenance renewals. | |
| Qualifications: | Requirements: Relevant Experience – field sales experience, along with inside sales experience. A mix of software, database experience with hardware and/or services is a must. Ideally the candidate has sold security software products, database systems or related database software tools and have start-up company experience. Track Record of Success - The candidate must have a solid track record of sales success in closing deals in the 7 figure range. Positive Attitude & Adaptability – Positive can-do attitude is a must. Candidate must also be highly energetic and a self-starter. Technically Capable – Must be willing and able to learn enough about AppSecInc products in order to articulate the value proposition to prospects and understand how AppSecInc solutions fit-in to the overall security architecture.
