Job Description: MesoCoat will hire a Thermal Spray Technician with metals, ceramics, and cermet application experience. The ideal individual will be a self-starter with a stable work history who would prefer to work in an R&D environment. The position requires the individual to have the ability to apply a variety of coatings using thermal spray equipment to test coupons and a variety of customer supplied parts. The qualified applicant will have experience using thermal spray equipment and developing coating application parameters. The ideal candidate will also have the skills to program furnace controllers, robotic manipulators and CNC equipment. Duties and Responsibilities: The duties and responsibilities for this position include: • Specimen preparation • Coating application • Coating parameter development • Thermal spray equipment maintenance and support • Coating material production • Strong attention to detail • Good record keeping skills Requirements: The requirements for this position include: • 2+ years thermal spray experience • Familiarity with lab practices and techniques • HS, AA/AS, skilled trades apprenticeship or equivalent Position Details: Salary: $25,000-$35,000 Location: Euclid, Ohio | ||||||
