| Market Development Representative | | Baynote | | As a Market Development Representative, you are a core member of Baynote's team and you will:
Support the sales team by conducting outbound calls to senior- and mid-level executives
Qualify inbound inquiries as well as outbound leads
Participate in marketing events and programs including trade shows, webinars and online meetings
Follow through on selling opportunities that emerge from marketing campaigns
Articulate Baynote's value proposition, organize online discovery meetings, and help capture customer requirements
Profile, research, and deeply penetrate target accounts
Consistently log leads, contacts and competitive information in Salesforce.com
| A keen interest in and experience with successful high-quality and high-volume prospecting is a must!
You have experience with enterprise software sales, in particular software-as-a-service
You have a university degree or college diploma and 2+ years experience as an inside sales or lead development representative
You can very effectively communicate in English with executive-level prospects by phone, through email, in meetings, as well as face-to-face
You can quickly perform effective research on the Internet and develop detailed technical briefs on key target accounts
In this position, creativity and resourcefulness are indispensable as you develop high-impact messages that capture Baynote’s value proposition and that resonate with prospects
You have to be extremely organized and know how to work independently, set goals and achieve them, self-motivate, and collaborate productively with colleagues at all levels
