Flex/AIR Software Engineer
We are looking for an experienced and talented Flex/AIR Software Engineer to utilize their robust usability and technical talents to design and develop online and offline client applications for Casenet’s next-generation product, TruCare. This is a unique opportunity to make a major impact on a next-generation product in the growing patient care management market.
Responsibilities
• Architect, design and implement online and offline client enterprise applications using Flex, ActionScript and Adobe AIR.
• Be the resident expert and resource for other developers doing UI and client development.
• Collaborate effectively with Engineering, Product Management and Quality Assurance to deliver high-quality product and other deliverables in a timely manner.
• Continuously contribute to a culture of software excellence: architecture, design, coding standards, testing, patterns, automation, tools, etc.
QUALIFICATIONS:
• 1+ years Flex, ActionScript and Adobe AIR development.
• 5+ years developing client and UI applications.
• 5+ years developing complex, high-performance enterprise software.
• Java development skills including Spring and services.
• Impeccable software engineering habits (e.g. unit and regression testing, code reviews, etc.)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• A positive outlook, a passion for software engineering and the ability to work as part of a team.
• A sense of urgency and the ability to hit the ground running.
• Able to cheerfully deal with ambiguity and change.
These traits are also desirable:
• Experience in the healthcare, insurance or related industries.
• Experience with GraniteDS.
