| Implementation Analyst | | Medventive | | JOB SUMMARY: MedVentive delivers robust, risk‐adjusted quality and efficiency information to decision‐makers across healthcare organizations, networks, and insurers. MedVentive's industry‐leading ETL process combines medical and pharmacy claims data from any health plan, and can accommodate laboratory data, EMR feeds, and any other structured data. Our proprietary data transformation process creates a comprehensive set of dimensions and metrics that profile key aspects of medical cost, utilization and quality performance. Our state‐of‐the‐art OLAP reporting system allows the creation of custom reports in an intuitive environment. The implementation analyst role will manage MedVentive’s technical client implementation process. Duties include analyzing client data, configuring MedVentive applications according to client needs, working with client IT staff to troubleshoot implementation issues and coordinating all internal resources in the application delivery process. By providing key subject knowledge of the process, the Implementation Analyst will take responsibility of meeting the Client’s delivery date. This role will also support a Client’s expanding needs by implementing new functionality or data sources. The ideal candidate should enjoy working with Clients and internal staff in a fast‐paced environment. This position requires strong communication skills, and the ability to coordinate internal and external resources to deliver quality products to Clients.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Oversee all technical aspects of new client implementations and for additional components and data‐ sources added to existing Client’s implementation.
Coordinate with Development, Client Services and all other areas in MedVentive that might impact the implementation process.
Create, maintain, update and adjust as necessary the implementation project plan using MS Project.
Coordinate and oversee the offshore implementation team for any necessary tasks and work flows.
Act as main contact with the team in the resolution of issues and problems. Load and analyze incoming implementation data and report back to Client with any issues or concerns.
Work with internal team to provide thorough and accurate technical specifications for statements of work (SOWs).
Work with Clients in resolving data and configuration issues.
Work with other areas such as production, development, and QA to assure Clients’ needs are met as an Account Manager.
QUALIFICATIONS The ideal candidate will have the following:
Bachelors’ degree, preferably with a computer science‐related major.
Minimum of two years experience with healthcare or pharmacy data.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Proven analytic ability and problem‐solving skills.
Ability to diagnose, research, and resolve technical issues independently or as a cooperative member of a team. Ability to work on multiple tasks simultaneously and meet deadlines while providing quality results.
Experience with Web‐based applications including knowledge of various operating systems and application servers.
Ability to clearly articulate issues and resolutions and track them using MedVentive’s CRM tracking tool.
Knowledge of SQL and/or other database query tools.
Experience with an integration/interface engine or ETL tools a plus.
Positive, proactive attitude. Willingness to travel up to 25% of time.
