| Director of Sales | | Medventive | | JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a Director of Sales who is a proven winner, passionate about healthcare and enjoys selling and opening new accounts. The candidate should have an outstanding history of success as a “sales hunter” in the healthcare IT marketplace with a key focus on selling to health plans. This individual will be a key member of the sales organization and report to the V.P. of Sales and Marketing.
EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS: This is a hands‐on position in a dynamic start‐up atmosphere. Must be a self starter who can take a problem and methodically decompose it into component pieces and provide solutions or recommendations for the solution and will participate as a senior developer on project tasks.
The ideal candidate will have the following:
10+ years of demonstrated success in health plan technology sales.
Strong knowledge of local marketplace. Experience selling/calling into mid‐large health plans. “Blues” track record a must.
Experience working direct and channel sales opportunities a plus.
Ability to interface at all levels of senior and mid‐level management, primarily on the clinical side.
Ability to demonstrate value, cost‐benefit and ROI based upon many business drivers.
Ability to travel on a regional level extensively and nationally as needed. Demonstratable success coordinating all aspect of a strategic sales process a must.
Ability to accurately forecast monthly and quarterly sales by managing a detailed sales funnel using Salesforce.com.
