Sr. Java Engineer/Technical Lead – Healthcare Software Customization & Implementation
The continued success and rapid growth of our company has created a need for a customer oriented hands-on Sr. Java Engineer/Tech Lead to join our implementation engineering team.
You will take a leadership role in the design, development and configuration of our enterprise Care Management software solutions. This also includes:
• Hands-on Java development as well as leading a team of offshore and/or onsite development resources through the customization and implementation of customer requirements
• Providing optimal solutions incorporating Casenet product and customer system integration points
• Estimating / scoping new work based on Statements of Work
• Writing Java code for complex requirements
• Acting as a senior technical resource for the project team
• Managing code including branching, merging, code reviews
• Working with Project Manager to triage and assigns tickets/bugs to engineers
• Interfacing with Healthcare Customer on Engineering/IT issues as needed
• Limited travel outside of Bedford office
| Job Requirements:
• Development of Healthcare application software experience strongly preferred
• 5 to 7 years Expert with Java, Hibernate, JavaScript, HTML and Spring
• Must have experience with both client-side/UI programming, as well as server-side/back end programming
• Reputation as talented team lead and coach
• Experience successfully working with external customers
• Strong interpersonal skills to include clearly understood verbal and written communication style
• Robust problem solving skills
• Experience leading onsite development team
• Experience leading an offshore development team
• Ability to organize, prioritize, and manage workload and projects with minimal supervision
• BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent work experience
