| Description: | VP Product Management is responsible for the following, including but not limited to: * Creating and maintaining product roadmaps for all of the company’s products. * Ensuring that company product roadmap supports company’s overall strategy and goals. * Interfacing with customer support, sales, engineering, and other groups to recommend prioritization of new features to be developed. * Documenting requirements for new features and product enhancements. * Oversight of researching and documenting feature sets, pricing models, strengths and weaknesses of competitive products * Understanding and communicating market trends, competitive pressures, and other factors that may influence the company’s product roadmap. * Providing feature set documentation to marketing and sales to support their efforts. * Oversight of product management function * Manage project budget and develops and delivers financial analysis to board and executive management * Responsible for research and monitoring existing client base and industry developments and identifying potential new product opportunities * Ensures that all marketing collateral matches product specifications Required experience and knowledge: * Minimum of 8 years experience in this industry * Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products * Excellent written and verbal communication skills * Technical background * Excellent teamwork skills * Proven ability to influence cross-functional teams without formal authority * Must be able to travel * Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past | ||||||
