| Description: | Description: The Manager of Business Development will be responsible for pursuing quality Tier 1 partnership and distribution opportunities in the US. This role requires an individual who can combine a solid understanding of the Internet (including online advertising, content distribution and contextual marketing) with creative selling skills to forge long-term deals with a variety of web publishing partners. Responsibilities include but are not limited to: * Forging strategic content partnerships. * Evangelizing Collective Media emerging publisher solutions brand. * Managing existing relationships. * Show a high degree of self-motivation and work well both as an individual and within team environment. * Fully demonstrate propensity to juggle multiple competing priorities. * Strong understanding of the online advertising sector. * Must be adept at cultivating, evaluating and negotiating sound commercial agreements. * Will be accountable and compensated for your own activities and results. * Support sales team and account management on all facets of client relations and service including reporting, client conference calls/meetings and campaign analysis/reporting. Requirements: * Minimum 3-6 years of online sales / business development /strategic media buying experience (online advertising, search, contextual marketing, web publishing content distribution.) * Demonstrated history of quota attainment; ability to evaluate sound business opportunities AND close deals. * Seasoned prospecting skills (relating to internet/online advertising). * Must have excellent communication and presentation skills. * He or she must have a propensity to adapt to changing environments. * Need to have ability to work in local office; travel as needed to accomplish business goals. No relocation offered. * This role combines elements of direct sales, business development and account management. Candidates MUST be able to show proven results and have extensive experience working directly within results-based online media sales, online media buying or online business development environments. * Understanding of online advertising industry from either ad sales or media planning perspective a plus.
