| RF Lab Technician | | Amalfi Semiconductor | | Description
As Lab Technician of our fast-growing fabless semiconductor company, you will be involved with the test and debug of the electronic hardware, control systems, software and mechanical assemblies. Working with a world-class team of systems and IC designers, you will assist in the development of the Amalfi family of CMOS products.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* Manage a lab of at least 10 test benches, including maintenance and stocking of the lab and lab supplies
* Fine pitched RF PCB prototype soldering, assembly and testing, including module and die attachment
* Assist in all phases of electronic board design, verification and documentation
* Design and construct test fixtures of medium complexity for board level functional testing
* Inventory control (maintain, keep track, order, repair) lab RF cables, connectors, attenuators, components etc.
Specific Qualifications and Skills Include:
* Electronics technician certification and Associates or Bachelor's Degree
* 5+ years development experience in semiconductor industry
* Skilled in die attach and removal from substrate
* Skilled in soldering and removal of IC die and small size components (e.g.: 0201 size) from substrate
* Basic skill in electronic test and measurement of Power, S-Parameters and other metrics
* Ability to trouble shoot test measurements
* Strong problem solving and trouble shooting skills
* Ability to read and understand electronic schematics
* Set up and operation of ATE and data collection
* Good PCB layout skills
* Familiarity with Excel and other Microsoft Office applications
* Skilled at lab maintenance, managing parts and component stock and lab inventory
* Able to compose and execute validation protocols and reports pertaining to electronics systems
* Good communication skills and demonstrated success in meeting deadlines
* A self-starter and team-player, with demonstrated success in a small company environment
