| Description: | We are looking for a self-motivated, jack of all trades, IT Support Admin that can work independently in a remote office to provide day to day IT support for the business development team and provide remote hands at a local collocated datacenter. Responsibilities IT Helpdesk — 25% * Provide front line helpdesk support for DC users * Troubleshoot basic networking and connectivity issues * Install, configure, and maintain Windows XP, Vista, Mac, Linux systems * Provide phone support (IP and mobile) Lab Manager — 25% * Setup and maintain training lab * Ensure environment sanity before training * Implement and maintain directory services and automation in lab Deployment Manager — 25% * Deploy images to laptops and demo/training hardware * Test and package all demo/training rigs as needed * Track assets Collocation Manager & Misc projects — 25% * Setup and maintain server infrastructure at collocation datacenter * Help with biz dev conference deployments as needed * Support biz dev and IT projects in DC office Requirements * At least 3+ years experience in IT support * You must have excellent interpersonal skills * Intimate knowledge of Windows OS * Good desktop/laptop/server assembly skills * Strong analytical and problem solving skills * Effective network troubleshooting skills * Experience with basic AD/Exchange Administration * Working knowledge of basic linux server administration * Strong customer service skills and the ability to explain technical matter clearly and accurately is a must * Must be willing to be available on-call 24/7 to respond to emergencies * Creativity, flexibility, professionalism, and a “can do” attitude is key | |
