Software Engineer

Overview:

As a member of the Design team, the qualified candidate will participate in all phases of Software development cycle from concept through production of the next generation Telecom systems.

Responsibilities:

Design, development and testing of embedded software for multi-service switching platform

Qualifications:

MUST HAVE:

•Able to conduct technical discussion in English proficiently.

•4+ years of embedded software development in telecom/ datacom

•'C' language programming

•Data structures and algorithms

•Any operating systems like VxWorks, embedded linux/ bsd, and others

•Any networking protocols like SONET, SDH, PDH, ATM, IP, routing, and others

•Strong analytical skills

•Able to travel to US for weeks if required

•Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.

•Provide high quality deliverables, including documentations, software source code, and test results.

•Quickly prioritize tasks and drive multiple tasks in parallel

DESIRED:

•Experience in developing software upgrade

•Experience in developing protocols like UPSR, BLSR, and APS

•Experience in routing protocols like OSPF

•Experience in developing tools and diagnostics
