| Sales Engineer | | DoubleVerify | | Opportunity:
DoubleVerify is looking for a Sales Engineer to support and enable technical sales activities, this is a critical business resource. Working closely with the Sales team, the Sales Engineer will understand the technical requirements of prospective customers, design solutions that deliver business and technical value, provide detailed product demonstrations and participate in in-depth technical discussions and presentations with prospective customers and business partners.
The position requires a strong background in ad-serving architecture and methodology. Candidates with programming experience desired. Candidates must have the ability to present technical solutions to both technical and non-technical audiences. Ideal candidates will also be intimately familiar with online ad-serving technology and services. The position is full time, and based in the company's New York offices. This is a great opportunity to join a company defining a new space in the online advertising industry.
The candidate must feel comfortable with, and remain calm in the face of uncertainty, rapid change, and aggressive deadlines common to rapidly growing companies with evolving business models. The ability to communicate issues and solution approaches to senior management is imperative to success in this position
Job Responsibilitiese:
· Develop an in-depth knowledge of the capabilities of our products and services.
· Provide technical support on pre-sale calls including technical discussions, demonstrations, presentations and proofs-of-concept.
· Develop a "use case" for prospective customer describing how our solution would be implemented to deliver maximum benefit and ROI.
· Support and extend sales efforts for our suite of products and services across advertising agencies, publishers, advertising networks, and demand side platforms.
· Provide timely, insightful feedback to the product management and research and development teams about the problems customers and prospects are trying to solve and suggest products/features that we could develop to meet the market's needs.
· Perform in-person and remote presentations of DoubleVerify products, services, and solutions.
· Be a point of contact for implementation details between our customers, sales, account management, and Implementation teams.
· Quickly understand the technical and business level needs of a potential customer and explain how DoubleVerify can benefit them.
· Assist Sales in responding to RFPs.
· Work closely with internal and external technical team members on custom product implementations.
· Work closely with a broad range of people (sales, account management, implementation, product, and research and development), across geographies.
· Manage project documentation, communications, meetings, and required meeting follow up.

Minimum Qualifications:
· 5+ years professional technology experience, preferably in a software development environment.
· Expert in both server and client side web technology.
· Experience with ad servers and third-party creative tags (Dart, DFP, Atlas, etc.).
· Expert in HTML and JavaScript.
· 3+ years experience in C# development.
· 3+ years of experience in the internet industry.
· Experience managing operational relationships with third-party vendors, including testing of new technologies and systems and process advisement.
· A proven track record of project management.
· High level of comfort and experience working with all levels of professionals both internally and externally.
· Extremely detail oriented, comfortable working independently, extremely well organized, have the technical aptitude to learn new technologies.
· Exceptional command of advanced Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
· Excellent interpersonal and communication skills and proven ability to work effectively with all organizational levels.
· Demonstrated skills in requirements gathering, resource organization, project / task prioritization and schedule development.
· Ability to build strong, effective working relationships.
· Ability to handle multiple assignments with effective resolution of conflicting priorities. Ability to manage obstacles and incorporate sensitivity to cultural differences and divergent priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
· Self-motivated, independent thinker and a team player, who will hit the ground running.
· Experience managing operational relationships with third-party vendors, including testing of new technologies and systems and process advisement
· Experience with online ad-serving platforms and formats highly valued (DoubleClick Dart, Atlas, OAS, rich media, video, etc.). Comprehensive understanding the online media marketplace.
· Experience in web crawlers/spiders development – a plus.
· Direct experience working at one or more of the following: advertising agency, publisher, ad network or demand side platform.
· Salesforce experience a plus.
· Additional language skills a plus.
· Travel will be required as necessary.
