Position Description
The COO will lead and direct the day to day management of the Operations or Solarcentury and, as a vital member of the CEO's core team, will help develop and deliver our strategy. Direct reports include the Project Management, Engineering, IT and Operations teams.
The COO will be responsible for all major operational decisions.
Budgetary Responsibility
o Managing the outsourced manufacturing suppliers. Managing the inventory used in the company. Solar is a rapidly changing industry and good inventory management is a key skill. You will also be responsible for the IT budget and the Freight/logistics spend.
People Responsibility
o Operations head, Head of Project Management, Head of Engineering, Head of Logistics, Head of IT Sales Support. Approx 30% of company headcount.
Technical Responsibility
o Broad, good technical understanding of construction and engineering projects in Europe under different jurisdictions,
